I just wanted to mention that I switched to the Slickr Gallery plugin, and was able to customize its files for use with Experimental Silver with no trouble at all.

Thanks again for the theme!

Namaste,

Thanks so much for this lovely template. I'm using the silver version at technomom.com, and I think I've gotten all but one little thing working.

I use the Silas Partners/Joe Tan Flickr Photo Album plugin (http://tantannoodles.com/toolkit/photo-album/ ). I followed the included directions to customize the plugin's templates for this theme, and ended up with only one problem: the sidebar is just weird.

If you look at http://technomom.com/photos/ , you'll see that the sidebar doesn't start 'til after the main content is done. That's what happens when I place the call to sidebar.php just above the call for the footer.

If I move the call to sidebar.php so that it's just below the call for header.php, the sidebar displays properly, but the main section's contents are stretched way out to be as long as the sidebar.

I don't truly grok php, so I'm stuck. Nobody has responded to posts in the plugin's support forum, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask you if you've seen this before and have any clues.

Oh! Is there a way to use a specific sidebar just for a particular directory? Or specify different sidebars for different directories? That might work. Sorta. Not elegantly, but I could change the amount of information in the sidebar for the photo section so that it's really minimal.

Finally, I also have Now Reading working with this theme. Do you want a copy of the template files for NR, so that you can include them with the theme? The author of that plugin asks that those using it who customize it for particular themes approach the theme author about doing so :-)

Thanks again!

Namaste,

Thank you so much and also for the plug. I really appreciate it. The silver one turned out much better than I thought it would. The black one does look like some kind of photo inversion doesn't it ;)

Loving the silver one, the black one reminds me of a reverso version of some scene from Supermans home planet, in a slightly scary way.
